Upcoming Meads: Crisp Fall Flavors

Apple Maple mead for fall

Fall mead label work in progress

We are bringing in the Fall vibes with a new mead this year. Fellow Traveler is a cyser acerglyn (apple - maple mead) just in time for fall. Sweet earthiness of real maple syrup is combined with the crisp tartness of fresh green apples. Every bottle encapsulates the essence of a crisp fall night.

The title for this mead was inspired by the song “Dear Fellow Traveler” by Sea Wolf. Check it out here.

This song invokes the feeling of traveling through late fall forests. I imagined an adventurer who decides to hang up their sword but reminisces about the adventures they had and they people they met along the way. Fond memories with just a tinge of longing. To me, ultimately, this is a song about life’s journey and the choices we make.

This will be a classic style still mead which can be enjoyed cold, at room temperature or warmed with mulling spices for the ultimate fire-side sipper.

Mulling spices

Just in time for the cooling weather, Season’s Meadings Mulling Spices will be returning soon. This is our custom blend of Orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and allspice. Perfect for spicing up your fall and winter meads. For a classic fall treat, use this mix to spice your hot apple cider.

Prickly Pear Mead: At Your Service Commandante

Returning this Fall: At Your Service Comandante- Carbonated Prickly Pear Mead

This is definitely our most requested seasonal mead! At Your Service Comandante is made with fresh red prickly pears. Prickly Pears are highly seasonal, so when we made this last year for the first time we were simply not ready for the demand and this one went fast! If you have been waiting for At Your Service to come back, not to worry we stocked up on fresh fruit this year to hopefully keep this one in stock for a bit longer this year. If you did not get a chance to try this last year, you can read more about this mead here.

Living in the Texas heat, cooler weather can sometimes seem like just a dream. Fall is such a short and precious season here. We are excited to be sharing these fall flavors soon.

Love,

Savannah and Bryce
